Hello Knights! I am honored and excited for the opportunity to lead Oakleaf High School. From the moment I stepped on campus in 2017, it was apparent that OHS is a phenomenal school full of remarkable students, teachers, and staff. I’m proud of the work everyone did to raise OHS to “A” school status. I look forward to continuing to build on our past success and also implementing Social-Emotional Learning to help develop the whole student.
As your Principal, I am committed to being transparent, fair, and responsive. Our school’s goal is to continue to provide students with a world-class education. We firmly believe that “You don’t have to be bad to get better” and will work to continuously improve our practices. At Oakleaf, we operate under the assumption that ALL students can and should be successful. We will hold your son or daughter to the highest of expectations, but we will also strive to give your child all the support necessary to make success a reality.
Family and community member involvement in schools is also very important to all of our students’ success. I encourage all of you to become active participants in your child’s education. Monitoring Synergy accounts, creating a relationship with your student’s counselor, scheduling an appointment with our College and Career Coach, encouraging involvement in extracurricular activities, and creating open-lines of communication with their teachers and school administration are all great ways to be actively involved in the educational process, even during our Covid-19 restrictions.
Finally, I thank you for joining our teachers, staff, and administrative team in working to make all students at Oakleaf High School successful. No matter their post-graduate ambitions, we are excited for the opportunity to help each student learn, grow, and develop into leaders of the 21st century.

Dear Parents and Stakeholders,
Greetings and welcome to the Home of the Oakleaf High School Knights. I am beyond estatcic to be a part of this amazing school and honored to assist with leading such a stellar staff, dynamic students, as well as supportive parents and stakeholders. My passion and drive for ensuring ALL students are successful in their academic and personal endeavors stems from me being a mother of seven beautiful children, as well as my previous roles as a life skills advocate, teacher, district science specialist and now assistant principal. Each role allowed me to provide both students and educators alike with the best educational opportunities possible. With that being said my number one priority at Oakleaf High is to:
Make sure that teachers have the resources and strategies needed to deliver engaging, rigorous, relevant and quality instruction.
Make sure students have a safe and conducive environment for effective learning to take place.
Establish strong relationships with students, staff, parents and stakeholders.
Foster effective and timely two-way communication between admin, staff, students and the community.
Teach academic and personal accountability that will assist with preparing the whole child for post-secondary success.
Parents and stakeholders, I want you to know that you are a pivitol part of Oakleaf High School and our success. Parent involvement not only increases student academic achievement, it also enriches our school community. Please feel free to contact our school to find out ways you can volunteer and support. We understand that when you invest in OHS, you are providing a presence that encourages our students, teachers and staff.
In closing, thank you for trusting your precious students in our care and partnering with us to prepare them for 21st Century learning and leadership. I look forward to making new memories with our students, staff and parents as we get ready for this amazing new school year.

To our students, parents, and community members- Welcome to Oakleaf High School!
As an Oakleaf High original, I have had the honor of watching our school grow from the first day our doors opened. In 2010 we welcomed our first group of students, and since that day we have become the largest high school in Clay county!
Oakleaf has always been a special place to me, and at OHS we pride ourselves on putting our students and community first. Our goal is to provide the best high school experience possible, with an emphasis on preparing our students for their future endeavors. We focus on the WHOLE student by providing: an exceptional education with high expectations, a safe environment that caters to both the social and emotional needs of our students, and an abundance of lifelong memories created through our diverse portfolio of extracurricular activities.
As your Assistant Principal I am dedicated to being honest, consistent, and fair. We can overcome any obstacle with open communication, and a commitment to work together. The triumphs of Oakleaf High School are an everyday reminder that our community, parents, staff, and students, drive our success. Our days begin with a standard level of excellence, but always proceed with the goal of continuous improvement. It is my great privilege to continue in the role of Assistant Principal at OHS, and I’m looking forward to another wonderful year with all of you.

Welcome Oakleaf staff, students, parents, and community members to the 2022-2023 school year!
When I joined the Oakleaf High School family five years ago, I knew right away that I found my school home. The unique partnerships enjoyed among our talented teachers, supportive parents, and loving community members help make OHS a special place to teach and learn. The past four years as Dean of Students has enabled me to develop such relationships based on mutual trust. I look forward to serving the needs of all stakeholders in my new role as Assistant Principal! Go Knights!

Dear Parents and Stakeholders,
Welcome to another year at Oakleaf High School! I have been a part of OHS since 2017 serving in the roles of science teacher, science department head, and Dean of Discipline. With that said, I am excited for this opportunity to serve you as the newest Assistant Principal at OHS.
At OHS, there are an abundance of opportunities for all students to get involved and feel connected, and for the community to show their support and encourage students in their educational endeavors. Our goal is for students to graduate from OHS knowing they received a world class educational experience. Our desire is for students to walk away with the proper resources and connections that prepare them for success in college, military, or the workforce. In addition, we know the importance of the social aspect of high school, which is why students leave with wonderful memories of fun sporting events, clubs, and student led activities that are offered throughout their years at OHS.
Oakleaf High School is a great place to learn, grow, and work! That is all because of the effort put in by the wonderful faculty, staff, student body, and community to ensure amazing experiences. Thank you for your continued support of OHS, and I look forward to working alongside you to guarantee that future students receive the very best educational experience at Oakleaf High School! Go Knights!
